Christmas break is two weeks away, but Christmas activities started on Dec. 1, with “elves take over” as the first dress-up day.

Student Council has planned dress-up days and other activities every day until students leave for Christmas. They also plan on setting up a coffee bar in the foyer for one of the exam days.

“[STUCO] has a bunch of fun things planned for students and service opportunities for helping other people,” junior Zuri Muldrow said. “It’s cool getting to know people enjoy participating in the activities we create and work hard on.”

The dress-up days for Dec. 4-9 are as follows:

Monday ⸺ Tree Topper/ Holiday Hat
Tuesday ⸺ Redneck Christmas
Wednesday ⸺ Candy Cane
Thursday ⸺ Grinch vs Whos
Friday ⸺ Ugly Sweaters.

The dress-up days will continue the week of exams:

Monday ⸺ Snowman
Tuesday ⸺ Tropical Christmas
Wednesday ⸺ Christmas pjs
Thursday ⸺ Christmas Color Wars (freshmen wear green, sophomores wear red, juniors wear silver, and seniors wear gold.)
Friday ⸺ Hawk Christmas Gear.

“I plan to dress up for the every day,” freshman Jasmine Kahler said. “I love having school spirit and I’m especially excited for pajama day.”
